Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Johor is seeking a Buyer Direct to support production by securing materials, managing supplier relations, and ensuring timely deliveries.

You will work with ERP/MRP data, review POs, coordinate with freight, and maintain procurement records. Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills and English proficiency are required. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years procurement experience.
• Experience with ERP and MRP systems.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relations with suppliers and place orders for raw materials and parts according to production requirements.
• Receive and process confirmations; check and modify POs based on production plan.
• Track shipments and monitor stock levels to avoid overstock or obsolescence.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, warehouses and transport to ensure timely delivery.
• Approve invoices for payment and maintain procurement records and metrics.
