Job summary

TimesConsult is seeking a Demand Planner in Shah Alam to oversee production planning, inventory control, and demand forecasting to meet customer requirements. You will coordinate with QA, Warehouse, and other teams to ensure timely shipments, adherence to regulations, and accurate KPI reporting for monthly management reviews.

Applicants should have strong analytical skills and experience with export/import regulations in Malaysia. The role is based on site in Shah Alam.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in production planning or supply chain roles.
• Experience with inventory management and stock optimization.
• Strong forecasting and demand planning abilities.
• Ability to coordinate with QA, Warehouse and other teams.
• Proficiency in data analysis and KPI reporting.
• Knowledge of export/import regulations and compliance.
• Problem-solving mindset and proactive communication.
• Attention to regulatory changes and policy updates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain production schedules based on customer orders and forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels to minimize stock-outs and excess stock.
• Analyze customer forecasts and sales trends; provide mitigation recommendations.
• Ensure production plans align with customer delivery requirements.
• Liaise with various departments on planning-related matters.
• Prepare and analyze production and inventory reports; monitor KPIs.
• Ensure export shipments comply with applicable regulations and monitor changes.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies; stay updated.
