Job summary

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in planning, a LEAN mindset, and a degree in SCM/Logistics. This is a temporary full-time position at Batu Tiga/Shah Alam facilities.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant operational experience at market/business level in Demand & Supply Planning or related planning areas.
• LEAN experience desirable with LEAN concepts and tools.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Consistently achieve sustainable Demand Plan Accuracy (DPA) improvement.
• Implement improvements to Demand and Supply Planning processes and tools to deliver tangible benefits (e.g.: time savings, increased efficiencies).
• Capture, prioritize, analyze and input Generating Demand events; customer, consumer & competitor information; other external/internal trends and influences, which impact demand plan.
• Communicate relevant information to Senior Management in accordance with the Consensus Demand Planning process; Drive fast, appropriate actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Demand Plan and communicate these actions to stakeholders.
• Effectively use all Demand Planning system functionality to enable an exception based management approach.
• Consistently achieve sustainable Customer Service Level for domestic within the Working Capital and Freshness objectives by ensuring that the weekly planning process is executed on time.
• Inventory Management: Balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimise costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks of the right material in the right location.
• Analyze and evaluate the supply plan and net despatch requirements to satisfy customer needs taking into account the network complexity and the supply constraints.
• Establish stock policies for Finished Goods. To do this for Inter Market Supply together with Planners of Producing Markets.
• Periodically review the stock level of the domestic to pro-actively look for solutions in case of deviations.
• Analyse and effectively communicate relevant information highlighting all supply issues and detailing impacts of proposed actions and related trade offs; Ensuring actions and Supply Plans are realistic and achievable In accordance with the Business Planning process.
