Job summary

ICHOR Systems Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Demand Planner to develop and maintain the Master Schedule, consolidate demand, and ensure accurate material planning to support manufacturing operations.

You will drive continuous improvement in planning processes, monitor key indicators, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare planning reports using Excel. The role requires strong analytical skills, 3–5 years in planning, and a degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years in demand planning, supply planning, or materials planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Schedule based on demand and business requirements.
• Consolidate and analyze demand to ensure alignment with planning guidelines.
• Monitor demand, material coverage, and key planning indicators.
• Identify demand gaps, risks, and opportunities and drive actions.
• Manage component requirements and assess material implications.
• Drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes and systems.
• Prepare and maintain planning reports and data analysis using Excel.
• Support implementation and training of new planning processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve planning and material issues.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities aligned with business objectives.
