Job summary

ICHOR Systems Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Global Master Scheduler (Planner) to join our team in Malaysia. You will develop capacity-constrained supply plans across our manufacturing network, balancing demand, capacity, and material constraints to keep production aligned with business priorities.

You will replace manual processes with centralized dashboards, and work with site planners, operations, procurement, engineering, sales, and finance to ensure executable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, master scheduling, or supply planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in capacity-constrained or finite supply planning, preferably across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Proficiency in ERP/APS systems such as SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and scenario modelling skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex planning information into clear business decisions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain capacity- and material-constrained supply plans across multiple manufacturing sites and product families.
• Prioritize production orders based on capacity, material availability, customer demand, revenue, and business priorities.
• Evaluate what-if scenarios and alternative production options to optimize capacity utilization and customer delivery.
• Identify supply and capacity gaps, recommend solutions, and upscale critical constraints with clear, data-driven recommendations.
• Partner with site planners, operations, procurement, engineering, sales, and finance to ensure global plans are aligned and executable.
• Maintain key planning data and parameters in ERP/APS systems, including capacity, work centers, calendars, safety stock, and planning rules.
• Improve planning processes by replacing manual, Excel-based activities with centralized dashboards, reporting, and data-driven solutions.
• Monitor planning performance, work order status, and exceptions, ensuring timely resolution of issues across sites.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen planning accuracy, visibility, and supply chain performance.
