Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks a Corporate Finance Manager to lead financial modelling, M&A execution, and strategic planning. You will partner with senior executives on major financial decisions and manage complex restructurings and capital market interactions.

The role requires 5–10 years of finance experience, 3 years in a managerial capacity, and strong Excel/MFRS expertise, with a preference for property development exposure. Bursa listing coordination is part of the remit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent.
• MIA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ICAEW membership is advantageous.
• 5–10 years progressive finance experience, at least 3 years in management.
• Experience in property development or construction preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of MFRS 15, MFRS 9.
• Familiarity with construction systems (IFCA, Logos, ERP or SAP).

Responsibilities

• Build financial models for forecasts, strategic plans, and valuations.
• Manage M&A transactions, deal execution, and due diligence.
• Evaluate capital investments and business cases.
• Analyse revenue, costs, and margins; support senior executives.
• Lead corporate restructuring and pro active listing coordination with banks for Bursa Malaysia.
• Assess land acquisitions and joint ventures via RNAV/IRR analyses.
