Job summary

Shayher Renovation & Builders Sdn Bhd, a member of the Shayher Group of Companies, invites applications for a Contract Executive/Quantity Surveyor to join the Kuala Lumpur team. This full-time role focuses on strategic contract management and quantity surveying to support construction projects.

You will prepare and manage contracts, perform cost estimation and control, liaise with consultants and subcontractors, monitor progress, and submit claims and variation orders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a contract management or quantity surveying role; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts, cost estimation, and project management principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with consultants, subcontractors, and team members.
• Proficient in cost estimation tools and project management software such as CostX, Glodon, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and managing construction contracts, including reviewing, negotiating and finalising contract terms.
• Performing quantity surveying duties such as cost estimation, cost control, and measurement works.
• Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Monitoring project progress and identifying potential risks or issues.
• Preparing and submitting progress claims, variation orders, and other contractual documentation.
• Providing technical advice and support to the construction team.
