Job summary

Maybank is seeking a procurement professional to develop category strategies for assigned spend, lead tender processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ) and drive value through strategic sourcing and negotiations. You will monitor supplier performance, manage renewals, and ensure governance and compliance across contracts.

The role requires a strong ability to analyze markets, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver measurable savings while maintaining governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• Proven track record executing complex technology sourcing initiatives and delivering measurable savings and compliance outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for assigned spend categories, leading RFI/RFP/RFQ processes.
• Lead strategic sourcing and negotiations, monitor supplier performance, and review bids/auctions.
• Manage contract renewals and commercial terms, ensuring procurement governance and compliance.
• Analyze market drivers to assess supplier suitability and identify savings opportunities.
• Provide analytical support by gathering data, defining scope, and building category profiles.
• Acquire and analyze spend data, collate reporting, and publish plans with Procurement Managers.
• Partner with stakeholders to capture requirements and categorize potential suppliers.
