ZF Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Purchasing/Supply Chain professional in Malaysia to manage monthly inventory reviews, forecast requirements, and coordinate material procurement for direct, indirect, and overseas items.

Diploma/Bachelor in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
Fluent verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Melayu.
Able to work independently and in a team.
3–5 years working experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain.
Strong analytical skills and adaptability.
Willingness to adapt to a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

Review opening inventory monthly to reduce days of inventory and aging stock.
Forecast requirements and place material orders to meet demand.
Procure direct, indirect, and overseas materials based on MRP and as needed.
Ensure timely PO issuance for direct and indirect materials.
Coordinate deliveries with suppliers to ensure on-time arrival at site/store.
Expedite/de-expedite materials based on customer demand.
Liaise with Customer Service, Planning, Warehouse on material issues.
Coordinate with Sourcing, Engineering and Manufacturing on resource/project needs.
Prepare reports such as Inventory Analysis, Committed PO, Shortages, GIT, and Delivery Performance.
Maintain records and report data to vendors/government as required.
Authorize liaising with Accounts on invoices and payments.
Maintain data integrity in the system for material management.
Develop schedules aligned with production to ensure material availability.
Prepare monthly reports: expenses, safety stock, cost-saving and lead time reduction.
Monitor Indirect Material forecasts and delivery schedules with suppliers, production, warehouse, Eng, Indirect Sourcing.
Participate in planning/purchasing to ensure smooth supply to mass production.
Attend internal product development meetings for procurement needs.
Forecast requirements and orders to meet sales demands.
Improve customer order fulfilment rate and optimize production planning.
