is seeking a Business Development Executive in Malaysia to identify and pursue growth opportunities across construction, engineering, M&E, HVAC, and related sectors. You will develop strategies, build a robust client pipeline, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver compelling bids. The role requires strong networking, negotiation, and market research capabilities, with a focus on maintaining long-term client relationships and expanding the company’s market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Economics or related field.
• 6 years of experience in business development, sales, tendering or client management in construction/engineering HVAC.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction, engineering, M&E, HVAC, industrial projects.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
• Generate new leads through networking, industry events, referrals, and market research.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and projects.
• Prepare and deliver business presentations, proposals, and company profiles to potential clients.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, developers, contractors and industry stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for business development activities.
• Coordinate with estimating, engineering, commercial, and project teams in preparing tender submissions and proposals.
• Review tender requirements and ensure timely submission of bids.
• Participate in tender clarifications, negotiations, and contract discussions.
• Identify and establish partnerships, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and collaborations with local partners.
