Job summary

Quess Malaysia is seeking a Business Development Manager (Recruitment) to drive new business through cold calling, networking and referrals. You will identify and engage HR and Hiring managers, build strong client relationships, and sell our staffing and HR solutions across IT, general staffing, payroll, and outsourcing services.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management or Client Acquisition, preferably in staffing, recruitment, HR or outsourcing.
• Proven track record in meeting sales targets and winning new clients.
• Strong hunter mentality with good networking and relationship-building skills.
• Good understanding of the Malaysian recruitment/staffing market.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and consultative selling skills.
• Existing corporate client network is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, HR or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development through cold calling, networking, referrals and LinkedIn.
• Identify and approach new clients and key decision-makers such as HR, Procurement and Hiring Managers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and understand their workforce needs.
• Sell Quess Malaysia’s workforce solutions, including IT Staffing, General Staffing, Permanent Recruitment, Payroll, RPO, MSP, EOR and HR Outsourcing.
• Develop sales strategies and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting, meetings and proposals to contract signing and handover.
• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, presentations and contracts.
• Work closely with recruitment and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Keep updated on market trends, hiring needs and competitor activities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports and forecasts.
