Job summary

IFF Malaysia is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth in the Food Ingredients business in Bandar Utama. The role focuses on managing key customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and expanding market share across Bakery & Culinary categories.

This hybrid position requires a strong regional market understanding and collaboration with IC&D, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations to deliver customer projects on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related discipline.
• 5-8 years of B2B sales and account management in food ingredients or related industry, with bakery/culinary exposure.
• Strong commercial acumen with track record of business growth and meeting sales targets.
• Knowledge of bakery and culinary applications, and strong industry networks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, able to translate technical info for customers and cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; collaborative in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts and distributor partners.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales, profitability, and customer loyalty.
• Lead end-to-end sales processes including forecasting, quotations, negotiations, and order follow-through.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to strengthen partnerships and grow business.
• Maintain active pipeline in Salesforce with accurate reporting and market insights.
