Tunamaya Beach & Spa Resort - Tioman Island is seeking a Store & Receiving Assistant to manage stock reception, storage, and distribution within the hotel's warehouse. You will ensure accurate receiving, issuing, and recording of items, while maintaining orderly stores and confidential documents.

The role involves coordinating deliveries, conducting basic quality checks, and performing duties as required by management.

Qualifications

• Experience with stock receiving and issuing processes.
• Strong inventory control and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to direct and store goods accurately.
• Attention to documentation and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Receive requisition orders from department heads and issue them to departments.
• Maintain tight control of stock movements and accurate inventory.
• Direct and store all goods during loading to the correct store room.
• Make internal hotel deliveries of surplus office furniture and merchandise; keep delivery records.
• Receive and store documents and confidential files; maintain destruction records.
• Keep warehouse, records area and stores area neat and orderly.
• Accept and perform rough checks on all items entering the hotel by volume and quality.
• Perform other duties as set by company policies or superiors.

• To receive requisition orders from the various department heads, to prepare them for issuing and finally to issue them to the respective departments
• To keep a tight control on stock movements and to have all items inventoried and issued correctly at all times
• Able to direct and store all goods during loading to the right store room
• Makes internal hotel deliveries of requested surplus office furniture and merchandise; maintains records of all deliveries
• Receives and stores documents and confidential files; maintains record of approved document and confidential file destruction
• Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner
• Responsible for acceptance and rough checks on all items entering the hotel by volume and quality
• To perform any other duties set by company policies, Management or his/her direct superior and not included in the above job description.
