Job summary

Essex Solutions (Penang) S/B seeks a qualified Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations in our Penang facility. You will lead the warehouse team, drive efficiency projects and ensure accurate inventory control and timely shipments.

The role requires a Bachelor or Master in store management with 3–5 years of warehouse management experience in manufacturing. Proficiency in MS Office and leadership abilities are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in store management or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of warehouse management experience in manufacturing industries including inbound, outbound and finish goods storage.
• Specialization in Warehouse Management preferred.
• Lean knowledge on warehouse improvement highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to work independently.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Job description

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively. Their duties include motivating sales teams, creating business strategies, developing promotional material and training new staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Lead the warehouse team and responsible for overall warehouse operation activities with change and improvement projects.
• Maintains receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts, reconciling with data storage system.
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counselling and disciplining employees: planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Monitor and manage delivery shipment accordingly.
• Control & Verified the activity from the goods receiving, packing and delivery.
• Arrange specific areas and location to store supervisor/Sr. worker for safekeeping of stock.
• Ensure packing material are sufficient to meet delivery schedule.
• Arrange store personnel to conduct monthly stock count.
• Ensure good issues from the store are carefully packed to prevent damage/ deterioration
• Conduct internal training to the subordinates.
• Place order consumable items for general use and housekeeping.
• Prepare documentation for Store Department use.
• Other duties assign by immediate superior as and when required.

BASIC SKILLS/ EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Master in store management or equivalent.
• At least 3 - 5 year(s) of warehouse management working experience in manufacturing industries covering incoming, outgoing and finish goods store.
• Preferably Specialized in Warehouse Management.
• Lean knowledge on warehouse improvement are highly preferred.
• Good Interpersonal Skills and leadership abilities and able to work independently.
• Proficient in MS Office (Words, Excel, Power Point)
