Job summary

Kemudi Santun Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Storekeeper to oversee daily store operations, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with purchasing and project teams in Sarawak.

You will receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials, maintain accurate stock records in Stock Card and QNE, and ensure safety and environmental standards.

Three years of storekeeping experience and proficiency with inventory software are required; you will also assist in audits and disposal of obsolete items.

Job description

Oversee daily store operations, including assisting Store Supervisor with inventory management and stock control.

Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials according to procedures.

Issue materials/ tools to internal teams as per requirements.

Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems regularly ( Stock Card & QNE system).

Monitor stock levels, raise requisitions, and coordinate with purchasing and project teams.

Conduct regular stock accounts ( daily,monthly , quarterly) and reconcile discrepancies.

Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of store and storage areas.

Assist in audits and disposal of obsolete/ scrap items as per company procedures.

Ensure compliance with store safety, quality and environmental standards.

Competency Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in storekeeping or relevant role ( marine/ engineering field is an advantage).

Computer literate, knowledge of inventory system such as QNE is preferred.

Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

Able to follow instructions, work independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Basic understanding of workplace safety and store procedures
