Job summary

FamilyMart is seeking an Executive - Store Construction to lead project management, fit-out and upgrades for new and existing stores across Malaysia.

You will plan, design and coordinate with contractors and vendors, manage site activities within budget and schedule, and ensure accurate documentation and progress reporting.

Candidates should hold a related degree and be proficient in AutoCAD; willingness to travel outstation and knowledge of Photoshop/3D Max are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess a degree in Building Construction/Construction Project Management/Interior Fit Out/Architecture or related field.
• Equipped with AutoCAD skills; able to read, produce layout and understand construction drawings.
• Minimum 2 years project management or fit-out experience (on site).
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, problem solving and time management skills.
• Strong management skills coordinating with internal and external stakeholders such as contractors and vendors.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation.
• Other: Adobe Photoshop, 3D Max advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, designing and coordinating FamilyMart new store openings, refit and upgrading works.
• Participate and support project feasibility, visibility and viability studies.
• Manage site activities within project duration, requirements and budget.
• Solve problems and provide solutions to manage site issues and vendors.
• Conduct site inspections regularly to review progress and project performance.
• Work closely with project team to ensure seamless collaboration and adherence to project planning.
• Ensure regular progress updates and reports within project team and superiors.
• Maintain detailed documentation for related projects.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
