Job summary

Fairfield by Marriott Sabah is seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead day-to-day kitchen and restaurant operations. You will supervise teammates, ensure cleanliness, food safety, and FIFO usage, and uphold the Fairfield service standard.

Responsibilities include hiring and training support, scheduling and coaching colleagues, and ensuring proper handovers at shift changes. Excellent guest service and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Food Safety certification course required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and cleaning.
• Inspects kitchens and storage areas for organization and food safety.
• Monitors production, safety and food safety; uses FIFO practices.
• Aids management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching employees.
• Ensures uniforms and personal appearance meet company standards; communicates handover to next shift.
