Responsibilities

Job description

State Registered Nurse/Medical Assistant (Immediate Hiring)

• Keeping the doctor’s room well prepared for consultation

• Ushering in patients into the consultation or treatment room

• Assist doctors on giving treatment to patient whenever required

• Ensuring medical supplies are available at all times

• Handle medical instruments with utmost care and proper maintenance

• Doing dressing for patients as and when required

• Ensure patients are comfortable throughout medical checkup process by adhering to all company’s policies & procedures, Nursing Standards and Code of Ethics.

• Ensuring any lab specimens are correctly labelled, taken and sent out with correct patient’s data

• Filing lab test report or hospital reports into patient data record/form accurately

Receptionist & Patient Care

• Attend to patients by coordinating professional and best services/treatment

• Ensure patients cards or treatment chit are being prepared correctly according to SOP

• Ensure sales data are captured accurately by keying in register patient into clinic’s patient data record system

• Ensure accurate patient’s information is disseminated to patient, doctor in charge or relevant parties via email, tele-communication, etc.

Dispensing

• Prescribe and dispense general medication to patient during absence of Doctor in charge and to get prior approval for complex medicine

• Ensuring the right drugs and dosage given out and provide correct instruction regarding dosage, duration and methods (if any) for the patient

• Preparing and labeling plastic bottles for medicines / mixtures

• Issuing receipts, M/Cs and cash chit when necessary and to ensure copies are stored

• Ensure all medical reports & treatment chits are attached properly with the Pre-invoice summary

• Keying-in drugs prescribed into the computer for records and for charges

Charging patients when required -

• Ensuring cash transactions are recorded and done correctly

• Keep Doctor updated on the MCs issued and medicines prescribed/dispensed during his/her absence on a daily basis

• Support and participate in public relations, customer relations & marketing activities

• Update billing in clinic system and customers’ respective portals

• Support and perform any other tasks as and when assigned by the immediate supervisor or Management

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess a minimum of Diploma in Nursing or its equivalent.

• Registered with Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia & Annual Practice Certificate by Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia

• Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and verbal.

• Able to coordinate and facilitate the teams and work groups as well as able to liaise with relevant authority and different level of staff

• Able to multi-task and work under pressure
