Job summary

POLIKLINIK MAYA 24 JAM seeks a Clinic Medical Assistant / Staff Nurse to provide clinical support from patient intake to discharge. You will perform vital signs, phlebotomy, wound care, and assist doctors in minor treatments while administering medications and injections under supervision.

You will also manage daily clinic operations, patient flow, and maintain clean, stocked treatment rooms. Rotational shifts including weekends and public holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Medical Assistant (Penolong Pegawai Perubatan) or Nursing from a recognized institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical support and nursing care to outpatient cases from registration to discharge.
• Perform clinical procedures including checking vital signs, blood withdrawal (phlebotomy), wound dressing, and assisting doctors during minor treatments.
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, and nebulizers under the supervision of the attending doctor.
• Manage daily clinic operations and patient flow, including scheduling appointments and updating records.
• Ensure treatment rooms and clinical areas are prepared, clean, stocked, and sterile.
• Handle clinic inventory and emergency medication stocks and alert management when reordering.
• Commit to rotational shift schedule including weekends and public holidays.

Job description

Clinic Medical Assistant / Staff Nurse (Shift Work)

Provide high-quality clinical support and nursing care to outpatient cases, ensuring excellent patient service from registration to discharge.

Perform clinical procedures including checking vital signs, blood withdrawal (phlebotomy), wound dressing, and assisting doctors during minor treatments.

Administer prescribed medications, injections, and nebulizers accurately under the strict supervision of the attending doctor.

Manage daily clinic operations and patient flow, including scheduling appointments, handling registrations, and updating digital medical records.

Ensure treatment rooms and clinical areas are prepared, clean, well-stocked, and that all medical equipment is sterilized and ready for use.

Handle clinic inventory and emergency medication stocks, alerting the management when medical supplies need reordering.

Commit to the clinic’s rotational shift schedule (including weekends and public holidays) to maintain smooth, continuous clinic operations.

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Medical Assistant (Penolong Pegawai Perubatan) or Nursing from a recognized institution.

Must be registered with the relevant board — Malaysian Nursing Board (LMB) OR Medical Assistant Board (LPP) with a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).

Willing to work on rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English to assist diverse walk-in patients.

Customer-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature.
