Job summary

MFG TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced stamping technician to set up, adjust and troubleshoot stamping machines in line with production requirements.

The role involves machine changeovers, die setup, tooling adjustments, and close collaboration with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to maintain product quality and process stability.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of progressive stamping, high-speed stamping, or precision metal stamping.
• At least 2 years of experience in the stamping industry.
• Able to set up and adjust machine parameters according to product requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and troubleshoot stamping machines according to production requirements.
• Perform machine changeover, die setup and tooling adjustments to ensure smooth production.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality during production.
• Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure products meet specifications.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance and basic machine repairs.
• Identify and report machine abnormalities, quality issues and equipment failures.
• Work closely with the Production, Engineering and Quality teams to resolve production issues.
• Record production data, machine downtime and maintenance activities accurately.
• Follow work instructions, SOPs and quality standards at all times.
• Maintain good housekeeping (5S/6S) and ensure a safe working environment.
• Comply with company safety, environmental and quality management system requirements (ISO/IATF).

Job description

Ensure dies, tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

Record production data, machine downtime and maintenance activities accurately.

Follow work instructions, SOPs and quality standards at all times.

Maintain good housekeeping (5S/6S) and ensure a safe working environment.

Comply with company safety, environmental and quality management system requirements (ISO/IATF).

Requirement :

Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field.

At least 2 years of experience in the stamping industry.

Knowledge of progressive stamping, high-speed stamping, or precision metal stamping.

Able to set up and adjust machine parameters according to product requirements.

Experienced in running first trial / first-piece production and making necessary parameter adjustments.

Able to troubleshoot machine, process, and product-related issues during production.

Able to operate and handle dryers, crushers, mixers, and other relevant machines.
