Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of stamping operation and related processes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Sound judgment in directing departmental staff.
• Ability to interface with other departmental managers and stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize daily workload and multi‑task effectively.
• Ability to interact with vendors and specify departmental equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all day‑to‑day operations of production in stamping floor.
• Monitor performance to meet delivery, quality and cost goals.
• Collaborate with customers, production teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure quality standards during new product development and production runs.
• Plan and schedule production capacity to meet forecast and resolve constraints.
• Manage raw materials stock and future usage planning per demand projections.
• Organize maintenance of machinery and tooling for production readiness.
• Lead tool designers and technicians to support stamping design and production lines.
• Plan ERP system functionality and ensure its effective use.
