Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Staff Specialist Operations Planning & Controlling to secure subcontractors’ capacity and drive delivery fulfilment. You will align new subcon sites with the supply chain process and work with the Biz Division on outsourcing plans.

You will review bottlenecks in the SPL-UI planning system, update capacity and perform quarterly loading rationalization to optimize cost, and escalate capacity issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Having experience in Subcon management is an added advantage.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel usage.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

Secure subcontractors’ capacity and commitment to drive delivery fulfilment

Enable new subcon sites according to IFX supply chain process and requirement

Drive subcon to meet planning KPIs targets defined

Review flexibility (subcon-subcon split) in alignment with quarterly rationalization results

Aligning new products or make/buy decision with PUR & BE OPC

Work closely with Biz Division in HQ on outsourcing plan / roadmap

Near / Mid-term forecast (Production Program):

Review and define Bottle neck in IFX planning system (SPL-UI)

Secure and update capacity in IFX planning system (SPL-UI)

Quarterly loading rationalization to optimize cost

Align with internal stakeholders (eg. test segment) for non-turnkey production flow

Work with Biz Division on outlook and allocation if needed

Escalation management on capacity issue at subcons

Consigned capacity optimization

Suppliers’ Management Relationship (low to middle management)

Interface to Biz Division on productivity projects @ OSAT

Supply Chain Projects to improve effectiveness and efficiency especially in area of planning

Reporting on following (not limited to below):

Subcontractors’ potential maximum capacity for Infineon

Demand Commitment versus Forecast

Volume Trend Reporting in relation to Business Environment

Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a relevant discipline.

Having experience in Subcon management is an added advantage.

Skilled in Microsoft Excel usage.
