Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a capacity planning professional to secure subcontractors’ capacity, drive delivery fulfilment, and enable new subcon sites following Infineon\'s supply chain processes. You will forecast and review capacity in production planning, align with internal stakeholders, and manage escalations to optimize outsourcing costs and performance.

The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract requiring 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong analytical

Responsibilities

• Drive subcon to meet KPI targets
• Forecast capacity and production plans (Long term and quarterly)
• Review bottlenecks in planning system and update capacity
• Align with internal stakeholders for non-turnkey production flow
• Escalation management on capacity issues at subcons
• Manage consigned capacity optimization
• Interface to Biz Div on productivity projects
• Report subcontractor capacity, demand vs forecast, and volume trends

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Secure subcontractors’ capacity and commitment to drive delivery fulfilment.
• Enable new subcon sites according to IFX supply chain process and requirement.
• Drive subcon to meet planning KPIs targets defined.
• Long term forecast (Business Scenario / Scenario Planning):
  1. Review flexibility (subcon-subcon split) in alignment with quarterly rationalization results.
  2. Aligning new products or make/buy decision with PUR & BE OPC.
  3. Work closely with Business Division in HQ on outsourcing plan / roadmap.
• Near / Mid-term forecast (Production Program):
  1. Review and define Bottle neck in IFX planning system (SPL-UI)
  2. Secure and update capacity in IFX planning system (SPL-UI)
  3. Quarterly loading rationalization to optimize cost
  4. Align with internal stakeholders (eg. test segment) for non-turnkey production flow
  5. Work with Business Division on outlook and allocation if needed
• Escalation management on capacity issue at subcons
• Consigned capacity optimization.
• Suppliers’ Management Relationship (low to middle management).
• Interface to Biz Div on productivity projects @ OSAT.
• Supply Chain Projects to improve effectiveness and efficiency especially in area of planning.
• Reporting on following (not limited to below):
  1. Subcontractors’ potential maximum capacity for Infineon
  2. Demand Commitment versus Forecast
  3. Volume Trend Reporting in relation to Business Environment

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in capacity planning, production planning, resource management, or supply chain operations
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple departments.
• 12 months fixed term contract basis.
