Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation in Malaysia is seeking a senior engineer in Test/Product Engineering to drive yield enhancement, reduce test costs and ensure device quality and manufacturability. You will interface with cross-functional teams across the product life cycle to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include root-cause analysis of low-yield lots, collaboration with test, quality, and factory teams, qualification of new products, and system-wide improvements to maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in High Volume Semiconductor Manufacturing, preferably in Test Product/Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital/power product testing, failure analysis, reliability testing and RCA.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis tools (JMP, Spotfire, etc.).
• Strong communication skills to interact with all levels of staff.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and disposition on low-yield production lots; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with test engineering, assembly, quality, and factory teams to resolve issues and maintain production flow.
• Carry out day-to-day sustaining activities (EQA hold rate reduction, SYL/SBL sustaining) to ensure on-time delivery.
• Qualify and validate new products; migrate tester platforms; perform various engineering activities.
• Support gross margin improvements through yield enhancement initiatives.
• System integration and cross-functional project support.

Job Summary
This role interfaces with cross functional teams on all phases of product life cycle. This role is responsible for driving yield enhancement, reducing test costs and ensuring the overall quality and manufacturability of the devices. Key Responsibilities

• 1.Review and provide disposition on low-yield production lots, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• 2.Work closely with test engineering, assembly, quality, internal factory and OSAT to resolve issues efficiently and ensure smooth production flow.
• 3.Execute day to day sustaining activities (EQA hold rate reduction, SYL/ SBL sustaining, etc.) to ensure delivery fulfillment.
• 4.Qualification and validation of new products, tester platform migration and various engineering activities.
• 5.Gross Margin Improvement Initiatives (Yield improvement, etc.).
• 6.System integration.
