Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a senior engineer to interface with cross-functional teams across the product life cycle, driving yield enhancement, reducing test costs, and ensuring overall quality and manufacturability of devices. The role requires leading root-cause analysis on low-yield lots and collaborating across test, quality, and OSAT to maintain smooth production flow.

The candidate will qualify and validate new products, migrate tester platforms, and contribute to margin improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 7 years experience in high volume semiconductor manufacturing, preferably in test/product engineering.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital/power product testing and failure analysis.
• Proficient in statistical data analysis tools (JMP, Spotfire).
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Must Have Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• 7 years of experience in High Volume Semiconductor Manufacturing environment preferably in Test Product Engineering, Test Engineering or Product Engineering
• Strong understanding of product knowledge & test methodology of analog/digital/power product, failure analysis, reliability test, RCA.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis tools (JMP, Spotfire, etc.).
• Strong communication skills to interact with people at all levels
• Strong project management skills.

Good to Have Qualifications:

• Experience with module devices
• Experience with Visual Basic/C++ programming
• Experience with ATE tester platforms (Teradyne ETS364/Flex, Advantest).
