Job summary

Randstad – Renesas is seeking a qualified Senior Test/Product Engineer to drive yield enhancement, reduce test costs, and ensure device quality and manufacturability across the product life cycle. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize production readiness.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and 7+ years in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing, with strong RCA, test methodologies, and project management capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in High Volume Semiconductor Manufacturing environment, preferably in Test Product Engineering, Test Engineering or Product Engineering.
• Strong understanding of product knowledge & test methodology of analog/digital/power product, failure analysis, reliability test, RCA.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis tools (JMP, Spotfire, etc.).
• Strong communication skills to interact with people at all levels
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and provide disposition on low-yield production lots, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Work closely with test engineering, assembly, quality, internal factory and OSAT to resolve issues efficiently and ensure smooth production flow.
• Execute day to day sustaining activities (EQA hold rate reduction, SYL/ SBL sustaining, etc.) to ensure delivery fulfillment.
• Qualification and validation of new products, tester platform migration and various engineering activities.
• Gross Margin Improvement Initiatives (Yield improvement, etc.).
• System integration.
