Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation is seeking a Test Engineer to develop, execute, and optimize test processes that verify product functionality and quality. The role involves setting up tests, analyzing data, performing failure analysis, and documenting to support process improvements and production efficiency.

The position requires strong electronics fundamentals, experience with ATE tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics or related).
• Experience with Automated Test Systems (ATE) is a plus; ETS364, 93K, Diamondx, ETS800 and Flex module tester are advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of basic electronics: analog, digital and mixed-signal circuits.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to support on-call duties if required.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate yield, quality, issues and implement improvements.
• Develop, optimize, and control manufacturing processes.
• Drive process improvements, defect reduction, and implement corrective actions
• Support test process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support production testing, analyze test data, identify failures, and implement corrective actions.
• Execute, and improve test procedures and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics, Mechatronics or related fields).
• Candidates with relevant engineering experience working with Automated Test Systems (ATE); ETS364, 93K ,Diamondx ,ETS800 and Flex module tester is a plus. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge in basic electronics, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits, will add advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Eager to adapt well in dynamic working environment, eager to learn new knowledge and able to work independently.
• Willingness to support on-call duties if required.
