Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. in Ipoh, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Electrical / Electronic Engineer to support yield enhancement, test cost reduction, and the overall quality of devices across the product life cycle.

You will collaborate with test engineering, assembly, quality, and internal factory teams to resolve issues, perform root-cause analysis, and validate new tester platforms, contributing to reliable, cost-efficient production.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• >7 years of experience in High Volume Semiconductor Manufacturing environment, preferably in Test Product Engineering, Test Engineering or Product Engineering.
• Strong understanding of product knowledge & test methodology of analog/digital/power product, failure analysis, reliability test, RCA.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis tools (JMP, Spotfire, etc.).
• Strong communication skills to interact with people at all levels.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• System integration.

This role interfaces with cross functional teams on all phases of product life cycle. This role is responsible for driving yield enhancement, reducing test costs and ensuring the overall quality and manufacturability of the devices.

• Experience with Visual Basic/C++ programming
• Experience with ATE tester platforms (Teradyne ETS364/Flex, Advantest).
