Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a qualified engineer in Penang to review yields, drive root-cause analysis, and support sustaining activities across test engineering, assembly, quality, and OSAT teams. You will contribute to new product qualification, tester migrations, and system integration to improve gross margin.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and 3 years in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing, with strong data-analysis and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of HV semiconductor manufacturing experience, preferably in Test Product Engineering, Test Engineering or Product Engineering.
• Strong understanding of product knowledge & test methodology of analog/digital/power product, failure analysis, reliability test, RCA.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis tools (JMP, Spotfire, etc.).
• Strong communication skills to interact with people at all levels.
• Good to Have Qualifications: Experience with module devices; Experience with Visual Basic/C++ programming; Experience with ATE tester platforms (Teradyne ETS364/Flex, Advantest).
