Job summary

Kindhara Senior Home Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive bedside nursing care to elderly residents in a warm, home-like environment in Johor Bahru. The role is full-time with shift rotations, offering work-life balance and a supportive workplace.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of bedside nursing experience, is an RN with APC, and can communicate with Mandarin-speaking residents. Fluency in English or Malay is also welcomed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on bedside nursing experience (hospital, clinic, or aged care settings).
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Fluency in Mandarin is preferred (essential for communicating with Chinese-speaking elderly residents), basic English or Malay also acceptable.
• Able to commit to a 45-hour work week on a shift rotation (Morning and Night shifts).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, high-quality bedside nursing care to elderly residents.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes to management and visiting doctors.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while maintaining dignity and comfort.
• Lead and guide junior caregivers during shifts.
• Ensure clear handover of resident status between morning and night shifts.

• Provide comprehensive, high-quality bedside nursing care to elderly residents
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in residents' conditions to the management and visiting doctors
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while maintaining the dignity and comfort of the residents
• Lead and guide junior caregivers/assistants during your shift
• Ensure clear and accurate handover of resident status between morning and night shifts

About you

• Minimum of 2 years and above of hands-on experience in bedside nursing care (hospital, clinic, or aged care settings)
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing. Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
