Job Description

The Staff Industrial Engineer is responsible for factory capacity planning, capacity model development, cross-functional collaboration, and layout planning to support business growth and operational excellence. This role ensures manufacturing capacity aligns with forecasted demand and business requirements while driving continuous improvement in capacity analysis, modeling accuracy, and factory utilization.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Factory Capacity Planning

• Own short-term and long-term capacity planning for the factory.
• Ensure capacity aligns with forecasted demand and business requirements.
• S&OP capacity analysis: Perform monthly capacity analysis. Present findings, risks, and recommendations to management to support decision-making.

Capacity Model Development

• Create, maintain, and improve capacity models.
• Update models to reflect NPI introductions, process changes, cycle time improvements, and equipment additions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the Test Engineering Team.
• Ensure capacity analysis uses the latest test times, yield data, and process information.

Layout Planning

• Provide support for factory layout planning when required.
• Optimize equipment placement, space utilization, and manufacturing flow.

• Familiarity with capacity analysis (short-term and long-term, including capital expenditure planning) and the ability to enhance existing capacity models for faster and more accurate analysis.
• Good leadership and strong communication skills to drive capacity improvements.
