Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Penang seeks an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to manage the quality performance of outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) suppliers, ensuring adherence to ADI's quality requirements and customer specifications while partnering with Engineering, Customer Quality, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Engineering, Science, or an equivalent discipline.
• 7–10+ years of experience in supplier quality or related fields such as semiconductor manufacturing, assembly/test, process engineering, or manufacturing quality.
• Strong knowledge of structured problem solving, root-cause analysis, 8D, 5-Why, CAPA.
• Ability to interpret manufacturing data, failure-analysis results, yield performance, Pareto trends, and process capability.
• Experience with supplier audits, customer audits support, MRB reviews, and change management.
• Knowledge of quality-management systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, FMEA, ESD controls, automotive quality).
• Proficient in spoken and written English with cross-functional communication skills.
• Self-driven, independent, and able to work with distributed teams; able to handle pressure.
• Willing to travel to OSAT supplier sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality performance of OSAT suppliers to meet ADI requirements.
• Serve as primary quality contact for assigned suppliers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Drive quality investigations, containment, 8D/5-Why, and CAPA activities.
• Support MRB reviews and supplier-material change management; promote supplier improvements.
