Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia is seeking a Staff Engineer Technology Development to shape future power technology processes. You will plan experiments, define unit processes, and collaborate across Europe and with R&D partners to advance integration from substrate to diced die.

The role requires an advanced degree in electrical engineering or physics, several years in semiconductor R&D, and fluent English. Proficiency in Python/MATLAB and strong project management are a plus.

Competenze

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related semiconductor field.
• Several years of R&D or process integration experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong background in frontend or backend processing and integration.
• Experience with electrical measurements using power devices and wafer probes is a plus.
• Programming in Python or MATLAB and AI prompting skills are a plus.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Fluent English required.

Mansioni

• Plan, design, perform and evaluate process experiments for new power technologies (including DoEs).
• Define required unit processes for the technologies and assess process stability.
• Joint technology development with partner frontend sites in Europe.
• Collaborate with R&D partners across divisions, frontend and backend, unit process development and integration.
• Oversee the entire process chain from substrate to diced and measured die.
• Develop and characterize test structures for electrical measurement to ensure stable production.
• Coordinate physical/chemical/electrical analyses to understand potential failure modes in the technology.
