Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia is seeking a Staff Engineer Test Development to bridge high quality standards for Automotive customers with our volume site in Malaysia. You will develop new test packages and support BE final test programs for power discrete devices, focusing on WBG tech.

The role requires 5+ years in power discrete test development, experience with IPTest and C/C++ coding, and strong collaboration across global teams. Fluent English is essential for this international team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering or a comparable major.
• 5+ years of working experience in power discrete test development within the semiconductor industry.
• Expertise in power test platforms (e.g., IPTest or similar) is preferred, as well as know-how in C/C++ programming experience.
• Strong technical background in Power Devices (IGBT; MOSFET…).
• Skills in analog or mixed signal electronic circuit, test program coding and debugging.
• Technical driving skills, result oriented behavior and strong communication skills within global teams are a must.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English skills

Responsibilities

• Develop new and enhance existing test packages (test cell, test hardware, test program) for power discrete products with focus on Wide Bandgap (WBG) technologies
• Develop and support the transfer and generation of BE final test programs
• Chart the strategy of Test Flows for Automotive standards
• Standardize and Harmonize the work flows towards higher efficiency
• Work within International Project Teams and lead test related work packages
