B. Braun Group in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Staff Engineer - Equipment Project to lead automation design and equipment projects. You will manage scope, budgets, and timelines, coordinating with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in machine design and development for medical device projects.
• Experience implementing process improvements and automation technologies.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent research efforts, analyze data and support decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead timely, task-oriented engineering projects within investment and production cost constraints.
• Drive projects following SOPs; manage equipment projects from RFQ to equipment release after SAT.
• Ensure compliance with global quality requirements across production sites.
• Verify technical acceptance criteria, conduct acceptance tests, monitor commissioning/relocation of equipment.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Train and mentor junior project managers in the department.
