Job summary

Micron Technology in Malaysia is seeking a Staff Engineer for the Non-Volatile Engineering (NVE) Product Engineering group. You will support NAND and NAND-based system product development and enable seamless release to customers, while building infrastructure and AI-enabled workflows to accelerate learning and debugging.

Responsibilities include setting up automation, performing failure analysis, and driving data-driven decisions across NAND tech, system development, and QA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience in NAND/non-volatile storage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering; Python/C/C++/Verilog exposure.

Responsibilities

• Enable successful product development and qualification with cross-team alignment.
• Set up infrastructure, automation frameworks, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Support system-level NAND testing, validation, and failure analysis.
• Drive failure analysis from system to NAND level and provide data-driven feedback.
• Develop automation and AI-assisted engineering solutions to improve productivity.
