Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking an experienced internal auditor to perform audit procedures, including walkthroughs and control testing, while supporting inventory activities under the Company Direct Assistance Program. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with US GAAP and PCAOB standards, and to document findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of audit experience with a Big 4 firm or a public company.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and PCAOB requirements.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CIA are preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English; Mandarin a plus.

• Develop and implement audit plans, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Document audit work, findings, and recommendations clearly and accurately.
• Identify control gaps and process improvement opportunities.
• Support special projects and ad hoc assignments, as needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of audit experience with a Big 4 firm or a public company.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and PCAOB requirements.
• Solid understanding of internal control frameworks and auditing standards.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CIA are preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English. Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
