Job summary

MVC Resources is seeking a Sustaining Electrical/RF Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to act as the subject matter expert for RF Match and RF Generator products. You will drive product excellence through root-cause failure analysis, obsolete component redesigns, and derivative solutions to optimize reliability and manufacturing yields.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with global teams, using ECO and Copy Exact processes to ensure systems meet strict performance, cost, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 4–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong background in RF systems and electronics design.
• Experience with ECC/diagnostic RF equipment and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform root‑cause failure analysis on RF/MW products.
• Lead obsolete component redesigns and derivative solutions to improve reliability and yields.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams and follow ECO/Copy Exact processes.
• Ensure designs meet performance, cost, and regulatory standards.

In this role, you will drive product excellence by performing root‑cause failure analysis, executing obsolete component redesigns, and developing derivative product solutions to optimize reliability and manufacturing yields. You will collaborate cross-functionally across global teams, utilizing formal engineering processes (ECO, Copy Exact) to ensure all systems meet strict performance, cost, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 4–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong background in electronic circuitry and RF systems, including AC/DC converters, power factor correction, loop stability, magnetic design, and the use of advanced diagnostic/RF test equipment.
• Self‑motivated professional with strong organizational skills, capable of self‑managing projects with moderate input while collaborating cross‑functionally to scope milestones and solve complex technical issues.
