Jora Malaysia is seeking an electronics engineer to support production, ensure product quality, and drive process improvements on the manufacturing floor.
The engineer (troubleshooting) will bridge design, production and quality teams, diagnose and repair assemblies, read schematics, and contribute to yield improvements.

This role is to support production, ensure product quality and drive process improvements. The engineer (troubleshooting) will act as a bridge between design, production and quality teams by providing hands‑on engineering support on the manufacturing floor.
Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies down to the component level using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzer or network analyzer.
Analyze failed PCBAs from production or customer returns (RMA) to determine the root cause.
Document failure analysis reports and repair actions.
Collaborate with development, engineering and production teams to resolve recurring issues and improve yield.
Able to read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts and technical documentation.
Provide support on the development and improvement of troubleshooting procedures and test fixtures.
Maintain compliance with ESD, IPC and safety standards during repair operations.
Provide technical support and training to technicians as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
2–5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic assemblies.
Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.
Proficient in using test and measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzer, signal generator, frequency counter, power sensor and multimeters.
Experience with SMT and through‑hole PCB assembly and repair.
Ability to read and analyze electronic schematics and PCBA layout files.
Familiarity with IPC‑A‑610 and IPC‑7711/7721 standards.
Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
Experience working in a high‑mix, low volume manufacturing environment.
Hands‑on experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and JTAG/Boundary Scan.
Knowledge of root cause analysis tools such as 8D or Fishbone Diagram.
Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement training/certification.
Experience in RF is an added advantage.
