AG Staffing is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to manage full sets of accounts for construction and property development projects in Shah Alam, Malaysia. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related professional qualification (ACCA/ICAEW/CPA).
• Experience in construction, property development or contracting preferred; steel construction background preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office apps.
• Accurate numeracy with attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
• Good communication and teamwork; ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts for construction and property development projects.

• Perform bank reconciliations, debtor aging analysis, and creditor statement tracking.

Sr Accounts Executives (Construction-Steel Engineering-Property Development)

We are looking for an Account Executive which can:

• Manage full sets of accounts for construction and property development projects, ensuring accurate and timely entries for general ledgers, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Handle project-specific billing, progress billings, retention sums, subcontractor claims and payment certifications.
• Perform regular account reconciliations including bank reconciliations, debtor aging analysis and creditor statement tracking.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, project cash flow forecasts and variance analysis against project budgets.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory accounting standards and tax regulations and coordinate smoothly with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial parties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW, CPA).
• Candidates with relevant working experience in the construction, property development or contracting industry will have an added advantage. Since, we are a Steel Construction Company, we would prefer someone who has brief experience in the construction sector.
• Good knowledge of computerised accounting systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Microsoft Excel).
• Strong numerical accuracy, close attention to detail and sound analytical and organisational capabilities.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage tight reporting deadlines and work collaboratively across departments.
