Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Software Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance in-house business applications, support system integrations, and deliver practical IT solutions within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will design, test, and deploy software, collaborate with users across departments, work with APIs and ERP interfaces, and prepare documentation while adhering to internal standards and security practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
Legal right to work in Malaysia; no visa sponsorship.
Experience with relational databases like SQL Server or MySQL.
Understanding of software development, debugging and support.
Hands-on experience with enterprise applications and business systems.
Exposure to ERP or Microsoft Dynamics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and cross-department collaboration.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance in-house business applications.
Design, develop, test, debug, and implement software applications.
Maintain and support existing applications, databases, and programs.
Gather and analyse user requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
Collaborate with users and departments to identify improvements and automation opportunities.
Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support.
Develop and maintain integrations between internal applications and ERP systems.
Work with APIs and system interfaces for data exchange.
Prepare technical documentation and system specifications.
Ensure applications meet IT standards, security requirements, and best practices.
Participate in enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
