Job summary

Shopee Mobile Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Sorting Centre Operations lead to oversee daily receiving, sorting and outbound activities, ensuring smooth workflows and SLA adherence. The role involves scheduling, staffing, and KPI monitoring with strong cross-team collaboration.

You will generate daily data reports, drive process improvements, and coach teammates to boost efficiency and reduce bottlenecks within a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Qualifications

Job description

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Job Description:

• Responsible for daily Sorting Centre operations, including physical processes, mainly receiving, sorting, and outbound activities
• Involved in scheduling, staffing, workflow management, and monitoring of key performance metrics
• Manage multiple stakeholders by coordinating with the manpower provider, and internal operations teams
• Ensure operations meet targeted Service Level Agreements (SLAs) through general management, while demonstrating problem-solving and employee coaching/training skills where necessary
• Provide daily data reports and identify potential improvements to existing processes to reduce bottlenecks and enhance team efficiency

Requirements:

• Working pattern: 45 working hours weekly, Rotational shift schedule, Overtime if required
• SPM or Diploma in the related fields.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations is preferred
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to promote collaboration and teamwork across departments and stakeholders
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is encouraged
