Job summary

Shopee Mobile Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated security professional to support daily operations across company facilities. You will help ensure the safety of employees, visitors, assets, and premises, working across day, night, and mid shifts.

The role may require weekend and public holiday coverage, with patrols, access checks, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting forming the core duties. We value candidates who are physically fit, reliable, and able to follow security procedures

Qualifications

• SPM / STPM or equivalent.
• Females are also encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience as a Security Guard, Security Officer, or similar role is an advantage; fresh candidates may also be considered.
• Physically fit and able to work shifts and perform regular patrols.
• Able to follow security procedures and communicate effectively.
• Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays.
• No criminal record.

• Monitor access to the facility and conduct routine security patrols.
• Perform visitor, vehicle, and access checks in accordance with security SOPs.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to security or safety incidents when required.
• Maintain daily security logs and report any incidents or suspicious activities.

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Responsible for supporting daily security operations at company facilities to ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, assets, and premises.

Shift & Working Hours

• Rotational shifts: Day / Night / Mid Shift
• Shift options: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• May be required to work weekends and public holidays
