Job summary

SeaOwl Malaysia invites applications for an SPS Mechanical Completion & Quality Control Coordinator to oversee readiness, conformity, mechanical completion and successful handover of SPS equipment.

You will coordinate inspection activities, support quality assurance processes, and work closely with the Quality Lead and Project Leads to ensure compliance with specifications, schedule, cost and HSE requirements.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent with SPS equipment experience.
• 5 to 10 years of professional experience.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication.
• Team player and proactive in coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work in close coordination with SPS Quality Lead for quality assurance / controls activities, and equipment delivery and handover coordination.
• Keep the SPS Quality Lead and relevant parties informed regarding ongoing activities status; advise Project Leads on actions/decisions.
• Coordinate inspection services via IQ-ALL and review inspection reports.
• Perform some QC inspections at Contractors’ or vendors’ locations.
• Expedite components on the critical path.
• Follow, monitor and coordinate the internal and external delivery and handover of SPS equipment under the Quality Lead supervision.
• Coordinate readiness of SPS equipment from all manufacturing facilities.
• Coordinate release of SPS equipment as per contracts’ requirements (Ready for Shipment certificates when applicable).
• Coordinate with Contractor logistics on location and delivery status of SPS equipment.
• Coordinate with Contractor Mechanical Completion team the compilation and control of release documentation for handover to Company or other Contractors.
• Support SPS Interfaces Engineers with the Company Provided Items handover process to Company’s other Contractors.
• Coordinate handover of SPS equipment as per Contract.
• Support PBF SPS Quality Lead in project quality assurance activities (Audits, Vendors Approval, NCR/TQ/RCA/LL registers, etc.).
• Participate in close-out of Contract(s) with respect to project procedures.
• Work with initiative and proactivity to meet project targets.

• To participate to the close-out of Contract(s) with respect to Project procedures.
• To work by anticipation.

Requirements

• Qualification: Engineer or equivalent with experience in SPS equipment
• Professional Experience (number of years): 5 to 10 years
• Proficiency in English (French is a plus).
