Job summary

Proride Auto Suspension Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an operator in the paint shop to support production by preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring adhesion and quality.

You'll operate and program automated spray systems, clean and maintain equipment, and record material usage and production output. The role requires adherence to safety practices and 5S, with coordination across production, QC, and maintenance to optimize yield.

Responsibilities

• Treat and clean product surface before applying paint to ensure proper paint adhesion
• Select and mix the paint according to technical data sheet
• Operate and program the automated spray gun to optimum parameter to ensure maximum efficiency
• Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot spray guns, nozzles, pumps, and paint booths
• Maintain accurate records of materials used, production output and maintenance logs report
• Responsible for all product issue and non-conformance, troubleshoot and provide corrective actions and remedy
• Report production activities and any abnormalities to Production Engineer / Manager
• Adhere to work place safety and maintain good 5S
• Coordinate between Production / QC / Maintenance to keep daily operation smooth
• Achieve higher yield rate and efficiency through continuous improvement
