Job summary

Astro Arena in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Application Developer (Contract) to maintain and enhance our sports event and broadcast applications.

You will work on platforms supporting live scoring, competition management, statistics, and broadcast graphics. This is an opportunity to contribute to real-world sports technology used in live events and broadcasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with PHP and Laravel framework.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and database design principles.
• Experience with real-time technologies such as WebSocket, Socket.io, or Laravel Reverb.
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs and services.
• Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.

About the Role

Astro Arena is seeking a Application Developer(Contract) to join our team in Kuala Lumpur.

You will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and expanding our existing sports event and broadcast applications. These platforms support live sporting events, including live scoring, competition management, statistics, digital scoreboards, broadcast graphics, and event operations.
