Qualifikationen

• Degree in Speech & Language Therapy / Bachelor of Speech and Language Pathology.
• Valid Practising Certificate by the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (2 yearly renewal).

Aufgaben

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and tailor treatment and discharge plans to age, culture, and clinical condition.
• Provide evidence-based speech language pathology therapy interventions based on assessments and goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in KCIS/EHR and report significant findings to referring doctors.
• Provide counselling, education, and home program guidance to patients, caregivers, and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary rehabilitation team for coordinated service delivery.
• Support administrative functions such as scheduling and data collection for KPIs.
• Participate in staff orientation, supervision, and mentorship of junior therapists.
• Engage in CPD via training, workshops, competency assessments, and practice updates.
• Ensure compliance with KPJ, MSQH/JCI/ISO standards, MOH regulations, PDPA, and ethical principles.
• Implement and monitor SOPs for assessments, interventions, documentation, and QA processes.
