KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of communication and swallowing disorders across age groups.

The role requires CPD participation, adherence to ethics, and collaboration with doctors, nurses, and rehabilitation staff to optimise patient outcomes and ensure service quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech & Language Therapy.
• Practicing Certificate by MAHPC (every 2 years).
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
• Empathy and active listening in patient and staff interactions.
• Collaborative leadership within multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop tailored treatment and discharge plans.
• Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy interventions based on assessments and goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in KCIS/EHR and report findings to doctors.
• Provide counselling, education, and home program guidance to patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated service delivery.
• Support admin functions, scheduling, and KPI data for performance metrics.
• Mentor junior therapists and participate in CPD and quality initiatives.
