Genpact in Malaysia is seeking a Specialist - Supply Chain - Procurement to lead supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and proactive performance monitoring. The role requires strong analytics, market awareness, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure timely procurement solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commerce/finance, experience with SAP, and exposure to AI-enabled sourcing practices. Hybrid work arrangement in Malaysia supports flexible collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level business education with procurement exposure or MBA preferred.
• Experience with supplier evaluation, market analysis, and contract negotiation is expected.
• Familiarity with CPSM/CSCP or similar certifications is a plus.

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors through research, networking, and market analysis to meet organizational procurement needs.
• Assess supplier capabilities, quality standards, reliability, and pricing models to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and maximize cost efficiency.
• Monitor supplier performance, proactively resolving discrepancies, risks, or service issues to maintain consistent delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing requirements and ensure timely procurement solutions.
• Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and best practices to enhance sourcing strategies and procurement effectiveness.
• Maintain comprehensive records and reports on supplier evaluations, contracts, and procurement activities to support decision-making and compliance.
