Job summary

AIA Company Limited in Malaysia (Cyberjaya) is seeking a skilled Management Reporting Analyst to deliver timely and accurate reporting to Group Office and local business units. The role emphasizes consolidation, analytics, and adherence to Group reporting standards.

The ideal candidate holds an accounting degree with ACCA or equivalent and has 4–6 years of multinational experience. Proficiency with reporting tools such as Azure, Power Apps, Power BI, SAP or BPC is preferred.

Qualifications

• ACCA-qualified or equivalent accounting qualification.
• 4–6 years of relevant multinational experience with regional exposure.
• Experience with management and financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience in a shared services or similar environment providing reporting and analysis services preferred.
• Knowledge of systems such as Microsoft Azure/Power Apps/Power BI/SAP/BPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all required management reporting and analysis are provided to Group Office and local units timely, accurately, and per procedures.
• Support consolidation of Group management reports on daily, monthly or quarterly basis with analysis on Group results.
• Ensure information from local units complies with Group standards for financial and management reporting.
• Provide timely responses to queries to enable informed business decisions.
• Assist in developing, designing, and implementing new processes, controls, and changes to systems to improve effectiveness.

About the Role

Job Description:

• Responsible to ensure all required management reporting and analysis are provided to Group Office and local business units timely, accurately and in accordance with the Group's reporting procedures
• Support local business units in the management reporting process and perform timely analytical review on the management reports submitted by business units.
• Support the consolidation of Group management reports on daily, monthly or quarterly basis in timely manner with analysis on Group results.
• Ensure information received from the local business units complies with Group standards for both financial and management reporting.
• Support Group Office and local business units on relevant management reporting and analysis matters by providing timely and satisfactory response on all queries to enable business decisions
• Support the development, design, and implementation of new processes, controls and functionally changes to existing systems to improve current processes, controls and overall effectiveness of the team
• Responsible to update Business Process Manuals, Control Checklist and Training Materials as and when new enhancement identified, implemented and communicated, and at least on an annual basis
• Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet management reporting and/or other requirements.

Job Requirements :

• Degree holder in Accountancy with professional qualification in ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience gained within a multinational environment with regional exposure
• Experience with management and financial reports and analysis
• Experience in a shared services or similar environment providing reporting and analysis services to external/internal stakeholders preferred
• Knowledge of systems e.g. Microsoft Azure/ Power Apps/ Power Bl/ SAP/ BPC preferred
